East Hartford Town policy requires that a pothole be reported to the town, giving the town ample time to repair the pothole, before the town will reimburse an automobile owner for damage done to their car as a result of a pot hole.

For this reason,� The East Hartford Taxpayers Association is reporting to the Town pot holes as we become aware of them.� In this way, should an automobile owner�s car be damaged after our report is made to the town, they have a greater chance of having their costs covered by the Town.��

We also asked the Town to provide us with a list of potholes, combined with the ones we provide to them, which need repair.�

As we receive your information, we will add it to the following list and inform the town.�

You can contact us� either by email at fctopresident@ctact.org or by telephone to 524-6501.� Please provide your name, telephone number and the location of the pot hole.� Please attempt to define the pothole by the house number it is in front of.� If the pothole is at an intersection please provide the names of the streets intersected.��

Our list will be kept current as information is provided to us.�
